In the early stages of WWII Germany vehemently believed in their greatness. However, nothing lasts forever. Surely, heads of the German government would not even dare to imagine that just a few years later, on April 25, 1944, Adolf Eichmann would be forced to make the Allies a most unimaginable offer - to trade the lives of 1 million Hungarian Jews for 10,000 trucks, coffee, and tea.
